Starting in 2005, the BMW coolant became a "Lifetime Fill". BMW doesn't list a coolant flush interval on any of their new cars. I guess the fluid will eventually get changed when the electric water pump and/or the thermostat fails...probably somewhere between 60K and 100K miles. I miss the days when I could simply drain and refill the cooling system on BMWs every 3-4 years.

Don’t worry a light flushing the system. Around 60k-70k miles, the expansion tank or lower radiator hose will crack and leak. All mine did that, and repeatedly did that. You will lost most if not all coolant at that repair. So indirectly, system will be flushed. Life time fluid is life time is the weakest part of the system.

Even before 2005. I have 2003 E39 and 2004 E46, both have “life time coolant”. Cannot tell when they started.

I wonder which region is this. Coolant is definitely not in my G05 maintenance schedule
