B&W Sounds very low recently

It's like a 50% reduction. Just noticed it a few days ago. I have to have my volume all the way up on phone calls and you can't even listed to music until it's at about 60% of the volume.

I will reset idrive, but not sure anything else I can do? Maybe try a different key profile?

Tried different music sources. So weird. I have had BMWs for 30 years. I lease every 3 years and all high end. I'm pretty much an expert on BMW's and I am pretty tech savy.

Anyone else experience?

Try muting/unmuting or pressing and holding the volume button for about 20 seconds to reset the head unit. This resolved a similar issue on my car running software version 2024.07/55. See if this helps. Mine is HK tho.

Yes. I had a similar issue several times, and it turned out to be related to Bluetooth or Wi-Fi interference. I had the YouTube app open on my phone, even though it wasn’t actively playing anything, it seemed to cause a conflict that reduced the volume output by about half. As soon as I closed the app, the sound returned to normal.

It might be worth checking if any background apps are running that could be interfering with the audio connection.

I had a similar issue. Seemed to start after an iPhone software update.
Try going to your Bluetooth settings, tap the little blue “i” for your vehicle, and a sub-menu opens. Tap “device type” and choose “car stereo”. This fixed it for me.

Shame on me for never knowing this. Thanks for the tip!
