Prod date 3/16. Delivering to Virginia.

My build date was 3/11, going to top half of Indiana, near Chicago..still stuck waiting for carrier according to Genius number.

I’ve been in Awaiting Carrier Assignment status for 3 days now. I called Genius and they said my car just got to the vehicle processing center today. Was told it takes between two days and a week to leave the center and get shipped off to the dealer.
So basically things are still happening behind the scenes even though the status may not have changed.

Just ignore that, there is no vehicle processing center that it goes to. That just means it is waiting at the factory for a carrier.

Yes, the goal of those on the Genius line is to get the person calling off the line, not to give them accurate information. It is amazing the stuff they make up. Genius is the name for the line, not a reflection of the folks that work it or the information they give out.

Same for me. Built 3/13, going to Central Illinois and awaiting carrier assignment.

Do these carrier assignments happen 24/7, only M-F, day shift only, etc?

24/7
