I think it looks better with the spacers. I’m surprised HRE didn’t recommend a more aggressive offset.

Fronts - 22x10.5 ET35 275/35R22
Rears - 22x11.5 ET40 315/30R22

I believe it was on lowest setting or at least one level down (I have air suspension)

Ignoring appearance, which setup do you guys think is safer/better to use in winter through moderate snow? 20" A/S or 22" pirelli winters? Obviously winters are better than A/S in winter but curious if the sidewall matters. 20" has a lot more winter options but since there is a 22" option just interested in that direct comparison.

I've the 742's also, in black. I like the looks of them and we get little to no snow so stuck with the 22's, it's too bad Michelin doesn't make anything in that size.
I was in the same boat with my last SUV, the Pirelli scorpion was the only tire in the factory size and if you waited until November they'd be sold out.
How would you compare your 742Ms vs the FF10s? Any noticeable difference in handling? Weight? Do you feel more confident the FF10s can withstand potholes and other hazards?

Personally I prefer the gloss finish of the factory wheels, in hindsight I'd have custom ordered gloss.

They're a bit lighter, it's not noticeable to driving or handling though.

Sorry, no idea.

It's a good balance. The wheels don't poke at all but they fill the fenders better. I've had more aggressive offsets on other cars, while I like how it looks, the paint takes a beating and gets chipped up. With these offsets I haven't had any of that.

Thanks so much that's really helpful. I'm currently deciding between the black 742Ms or liquid (gloss) black FF10s. I generally prefer OEM looks but these FF10s are real tempting.

Anyone know if the center cap is the same size as OEM?

I'd go with the HRE's, gloss finish. I think it's a great looking wheel, and the added width of the wheels looks better than the factory ones IMO

Thanks. The added width actually makes me a little nervous because it'll stretch the tire a bit and since I'm going with the pirelli A/S it might look extra stanted on the sidewall. I prefer the bulge shape of the Conti sidewall so already sacrificing a bit going pirelli but wider rim might make that even less bulgey than it already is. Bottom line I love the way your contis look on them, not so sure how my pirelli a/s will.

I was talking to the HRE rep and they sent me your pictures as an example. I'm surprised how heavy they are. Did you weigh the OEM wheels? What was the weight?

Awesome!! Major props for ordering them, there’s some thing about ordering $10,000 wheels for a car that’s only 70-80 grand that was hard for me to swallow, but that’s just me man! Your set up looks great and the offsets do look perfect!

Those aren't $10k. They're $3.5k for the set (I was just quoted). It's their flow form wheels.

I also agree that it looks better without the spacers. I don't like it when the offset is too aggressive.

No kidding!? I didn’t know HRE made a wheel in that price range for a sad, I’ll have to look into it in that case lol

Been looking at these wheels for a while. I have a phytonic blue X5 as well. Looking to go with the liquid metal, instead of the black.
