Not overly exciting but not offensive either. Just how an Accord should be. The design should age well IMO. The front bumper does look a little soft and Honda perhaps could have made it slightly more aggressive, but that's just me nitpicking. A shame about the loss of the 2.0T, but now there's a reason to step up to the TLX if you're looking for premium but don't want to leave the Honda ecosystem.

Audi A7 rear with a Saab front?
I appreciate the interior updates but man that exterior looks weird... i think they knocked the civic out of the ball park but this is weird. also... not sure how the engine choices will perform... losing the 2.0 is sad

Front end is a mish-mash of styling, I hate the wheels, and the honeycomb'esque dash still hasn't grown on me. I like everything else though. I tried updating my beater with '22 Civic but even after going through seven dealers could not get one to actually follow through on a simple color combo.

Some of these youtube reviewers... I wonder if this is their fulltime job.

It was a very LOUD immediate thought in my head.
It does look like they might've raised the seating position up a bit - probably to provide more side impact protection from larger vehicles. Last edited by br438; 11-10-2022 at 01:44 PM.. |

I like the last version better. Significantly better. bummer for them. It's a pretty massive step back... and who in the world thinks the word "sleek" when they look at that? hahahahaha
We actually drove a '21 Accord for a few hundred miles on the way to PCD earlier this year. It was a "sport" version, and aside from road noise (tire noise was pervasive), it was amazing! It did feel like you were very low to the ground - cool... but not as cool if someone in an SUV runs a redlight and t-bones you. |

Mazda3 sedan front end, Audi A7 side profile, VW rear. Feels like a pretty big step backwards from the outgoing car.

Hmm...
This reminds me of a VW Passat in the rear with the front of a smooshed Civic. Though the rear reminds me also of a Honda Insight, it is also very round from the side. Hm. I prefer the current Accord me thinks.
