My new 45e's moonroof stopped working. Tried to reset it and everything, but absolutely no movement. So I took a fellow bimmer's suggestion to disconnect the battery from the trunk.

I removed the negative terminal, and the car does not seem to care. Everything is still powered, the lights, Idrive, windows, lock/unlock. The care simply does not care if the acid battery is connected or not. I guess the high voltage battery can take care of everything on its own.

Of course, my moonroof is still not working. Going to take it to dealer soon :/

there's two 12V batteries under the cargo floor, not just one

What the? I only found the one next to the fuse box. Where is the other one?
