G05 OEM footrest
Hi All,
Can only see non-OEM on Amazon, eBay, etc. The ones on BMW's website are not the same as original. Any ideas where I can find the original onlline? Thanks. |

What is the 11 digit BMW part number for this footrests you're asking about? To find vendors that sell it…do a google search using the part number…(ie. BMW XX XX X XXX XXX {where x=the actual numbers})
If you don’t know the number…look it up in one of the online parts databases like realoem.com or bimmercat.com … or call the PARTS department of your local BMW dealership. You give no model year info…so the online sites may not work if your BMW is newer than a 2019 build date.

Thanks for the info but still can't find it, so any help on the part number or where to get the part online would be much appreciated!
It's a MY2020 X5 M50i, build date 10/2019. The factory alloy foot rest/dead pedal is what I'm looking for. It's the same on all G05's in the LHD markets from what I can see. RHD markets only get a black plastic one. I don't have the part number and could not find it on google, realoem, bimmercat, fcp euro, and ecs tuning. Could only see the accelerator and brake pedals. I'm not in the US at the moment so it's not easy to call the dealers. There's an M-Performance one that BMW sells as an accessory but it's not the same as factory, and looks cheap IMO. There's a used OEM one for sale on this euro website, but the BMW part numbers on the listing don't work on realoem or bimmercat. https://rrr.lt/en/used-part/sin1622-...pad-dead-pedal |

They are part of the carpeting/flooring now, that's why you are not able to find a separate part number.

Since it is going to be on everyone's mind - why did you have to change it?

Driving became uncomfortable as the floor was no longer level, my foot kept sliding down into this dip. It was maddening. The carpet was £450 and the job took about 5 hours. I could do it much quicker a second time but hopefully won't ever have to again. |

Not the end of the world but I wonder why the RHD markets didn't get it? Matches the other pedals nicely and very noticeable when you open the door. |

Would prefer a little more coverage on the pedal. |
