Highway Assist, how good is your coverage?

Where I live, highway assist coverage is absolutely shitty. Here there are two roads and one of them you don't really want to be driving hands free on. The other road is a bypass road. None of the major highways show as green in the availability map.

I don't know if and when this will ever change.

How good is your coverage?

Just the interstates in my area. I would pay a small fee if they would use GM's coverage.

Umm may be a dumb question, but where can we check this for our vehicles?
Thanks.

While in your vehicle hit the Suggestions button on the far right of the nav screen. Then another button (can't remember the name right now) for a map of available roads which are lit in green.

While my coverage isn’t the best, during highway assist, it attempted to crash the car. As a result, I no longer trust the system

It supports divided highways, even if not interstate in the areas I have used them (KY, OH, drive home from PCD). It will disable before traffic lights, intersections, etc.

Works on all Interstates, which is what I use for longer trips. System has been working very well for me.
We have some divided Highways, but no coverage.

Key phrase is “limited access highways”. Highway assistance works only on interstates, freeways and most toll roads in my experience.
