He is looking at the domestic military, when I go on the line with Loyalty it shows that they are stackable. When you go from the line with the Military Sales, it shows that they are not.

Are you sure that is an official chart? The official BMW chart that ended a few weeks ago show that OL Codes and Military type J are not stackable. I guess that could have changed for 2020.

To be honest with you, I am not 100% sure that my chart is up to date.

Sorry!

The matrix is confusing, and seems to contradict itself. The way it was explained to me was to start from the farthest left hand column and read across...so loyalty across right would qualify with OL and Domestic Military. Regardless, your dealer could alway simply apply the OL code to another (unknowingly) customers upcoming sold unit. In fact, if you have more than one OL Code, and you have a great relationship with your dealer, you could also split the difference on the other OL Codes...cough...cough

Unfortunately, my dealer has shown me the print for the OL code where it is showing directly that it can't be combined with the J (Military) discounts. So instead of getting that, I got a $250 from him and that was it.

That sucks! Well, I guess $250 is better than nothing.

Confirming that as soon as I hit 60 day with Penfed, I was able to generate the code. They will send you a customer code and an offer code (both on the browser and an email). Simply forward that to your dealer's finance manager and ask them to apply as type J. I got the $500 credit no question asked. Thanks to OP again for this PSA.

Sweet! Glad it's all working for you guys. When I originally posted, it was so new, that many dealers had difficulty processing the code. Seems like things are now up and running.

Yep, appreciate your post once again. It was literally a $5 deposit into Penfed and you're all set, the rate of return is even higher than joining CCA. Of course CCA you get magazines and stuff so there's that

Anyone have a Pedfed code they ended up not using and willing to let it go? Going to dealer Tuesday to try and finalize a M50i order. I signed up for Pedfed, but wont be at 60 days until 3/9...
thanks, Steve

The certificate is personalized to the PenFed member so others won’t be able to use it.

Correct. There is a customer code and an offer code, so it's a combination.

Since he hasn't even finalized the deal, just wait until March... it's not that far away. You also don't need the code until you are finalizing the PAPERWORK. You can seal the deal in terms of discount negotiation first.

I don't think that's how the chart should be read. It's a matrix so only shows pairwise relationship.

Loyalty + OL: Yes
Loyalty + Type J: Yes
Conquest + OL: Yes
Conquest + Type J: Yes
College Graduate + Any of the four: Yes

It doesn't matter which row you read, the "Yes" only means the intersecting row and column are stackable.

So if you qualify for loyalty, OL, conquest and PenFed, then you can do either one of the two below, since they need to be mutually stackable:

Loyalty + OL + Conquest
Loyalty + Type J + Conquest

The current $3250 discount from Penfed does not seem to require financing from Penfed.

I have confirmed that it does not require Penfed financing, but they do have discounted rates for that program. Unfortunately right now the 36 month is 1.39%, but the rate goes up rapidly with longer terms.

Penfed offer

I just checked my account and I see an offer to save an additional $3250 on new BMW . I am not sure how this will stack with BMW offers.

Experts , please chime in ..

I ordered my M50i on 9/11 and found out about the Penfed program through this forum on 9/14. The dealer had to remove the incentive that required me to finance through BMW and I ended up with a net savings of $1,000.
