2019 G05 50i - Black Sapphire Metallic / Cognac Interior

Picked up my new 2019 BMW X5 50i a few weeks ago and wanted to share photos of it! This is my 3rd X5 and my 7th BMW. Just came from E70 X5M and although it would have been nice to wait for the M model to come out, it would have been way above my desired monthly lease budget. The G05 X5 50i is a superior daily driver compared to the E70 X5M. No regrets with my choice!

I dont plan on doing much more than these quick changes from the start except for winter wheels next season. Doesn't need much else! As much as a tune and new exhaust sounds appealing, probably wont happen! =)

Looks great. How hard was it to install the front and rear reflectors?
Also is that the fineline trim? Thats what I choose, just hoping it holds but from scratches.

i think a lot people really under estimate how much tint, debadge, and paint match reflectors can really clean up the car (while not being expensive). looks good.

Question for you: is the trim area under the rear bumper that is across the bottom of the back of the car and exhaust pipes actually a lighter grey color than the Black Sapphire of the rest of the car?

Thanks for the pics,

Apart from the wheels and window tint, this is exactly how my M50i will be delivered: BSM, 747M wheels, debadged, blacked-out (OEM).

I had to go with Coffee interior as Cognac was removed for the 2020 models (at least in Germany).

I am debadging tonight as well

Nice! Love the cognac interior. Have the same. Don't know why they nixed it for 2020. Other colors boring IMO.

Wish I sprung for the 22" with 315 in the rear. Looks nice and aggressive. Well specced!

Great spec.

Now that you've owned the car a year -what kind of luck have you had with the tires living with NJ roads?

Any blow outs?

Thanks.

Damn I wish we could get that leather in the UK. Looks so good. I've gone for Ivory as only other options on the M50i were black or coffee which I felt were too dark on arctic grey.

How's the ride quality with the 35 sidewall on those 22s? I'll be ordering an X5 around May and can't decide whether to go with the standard 20" or 22". I love the look of those 22" wheels but the sidewall is just so thin.
