Pirelli P Zero All Season 22"

Looks like Pirelli makes an all-season option in the 275/315 22" size. They are Bentley spec, and quite expensive, but basically the only all-season option for that size. I spoke with a TireRack rep, and as far as the specifics of what make the tires "Bentley Spec" it seems the Noise Cancelation is the main additional feature. Otherwise he said there should be no issues running them on the X5. Has anyone had any experience with these tires on their X5 in this size?

There was another thread regarding this exact tire. From the info in that thread it seemed tire rack has these on their site by mistake because these tires can only be sold to Bentley dealership. Seems like there's conflicting info on whether or not these tires can actually be ordered.

Just spoke with a representative at TireRack who said there were no restrictions on selling these tires to me, and even sent me an order page link. He was not aware of any exclusivity to Bentley dealerships. It's possible that a restriction was lifted, or that one may come back in the future, but he did mention that they are a very limited production tire.

I posted the comment previously that they were only for Bentley dealerships, which is what the rep at Tire rack told me. However, since then they are now available to all. I ordered them through Discount Tire, they're ready, but I probably won't have them put on until mid-October.

Awesome, keep us posted! We are planning on ordering and then taking delivery of our X5 in December so we will need these to be put on as soon as we get it. Might even order them during some of the Black Friday sales.

I just put them on mine last weekend. Got them via local Discount Tire store. Look and and fit just like the p zero summers. Out of the country for another week, so can’t take any pics right now.

Awesome! They look great. How do they ride vs the stock tires?

They seem similar I guess. Haven’t had much time on either yet.

I like your wheels. Good choice.
Thanks for the pics. If you get a chance could you post pictures of the tread pattern?
Thanks!

Thanks for the link, I’ve looked at that marketing photo a bunch trying to figure how it would look in real life. Would still b interested in seeing the rear meats in situ.

Happy they make them in these sizes. But what to do with the horrible reviews?

I too was concerned about the reviews. It appears the Plus version (which doesn't come in our sizes) are rated much better.

The whole point of getting these tires is to be safer during the cold months, but I think if the reviews are to be trusted, these tires are pretty much a waste of money. I guess winter tire package it is then.

I've always only bought Michelin for summer, winter and AS, simply amazing and beyond. imo Michelin is #1, in a league of their own; and I have always considered Pirelli to be the worst among the higher tier tires, guess this proves it.

I would've been OK with DWS06 though!

No, I go with a summer and winter setup, but I was considering these as a sole option. Unfortunately, Pirelli is the only 22" winter rubber option.

Pirelli P Zero All Season 22"

Is this tire good for harsh winters? In my area of Madison, there is often heavy snow in winter.
Check this: https://tireer.com/best-snow-tires-for-trucks/
