Purple Paint

Finally got our 2020 X5 40i back from RDBLA! My wife wanted purple, so we had it resprayed Lamborghini Viola Parsifae. Also blacked out wheels and trim. Really happy with with how turned out, and most importantly my wife is happy with it.

Yikes! Wouldn't a wrap been a better option in case your wife gets tired of the color or you decide to sell the vehicle?

How’s the wife doing? Saw the video of the paint (or re-paint) process and those guys were unbelievable. Never have I seen a painter possessing that level of skill...hope he gets paid alot!

I think the color is terrific, it’s a love/hate kinda thing. Good luck with the car and hope your wife fully enjoys it!

Curious how much a paint job like this cost. I'm guessing close to 10k.

For anyone else who wishes to watch the video. End result looks great. Enjoy the car and wishing your wife well.

Thank you! My wife has bad days and less bad days. This brings a smile to her face every time she sees it.

Yikes? My wife decides something and doesn't change her mind. You cannot get that color or depth with a wrap. I had the opportunity and means to give her exactly what she wanted, and I feel fortunate.

I love the dedication.

Question- why not black out the chrome ring around the roundels (hood/ trunk) to match the theme .

Ind sells those pieces but I'm sure your shop would have no problem doing that either .

This color looks sick, I'm sure it's even crazier in person.

I must say this is an absolutely crazy idea but it looks stunning!!! I also love the wheels in black, first time I've seen the 741m alloys in black just like I want on mine.

Best wishes to you and your wife!

Color looks great and looks like RDB did a phenomenal job of painting it.

Best wishes to your wife!
