you should check it out some day...maybe with your girlfriend/wife

when you look at the end of a glacier is like a start of a different world

Nice pics, looks like a great trip. I have been going up to Anchorage and Fairbanks every 2-3 weeks for the last 5 years, always on business. It seems I never really do anything when I''m up there. I have also never been to Juneau.

Vancouver was nice, I didn't stay in Richmond too long. Its just like the Richmond in Toronto....alot of shops/restaruants.
But I love downtown, somewhat reminds me of hong kong with all the tall residential buildings. We stayed at the Hyatt and the interior of our room was so modern (flatscreen tv and cool furnitures). We had dim sum at the mall where Hyatt was and it was good....had korean food on the 2nd floor mall place and it was also good.

One thing I want to point out....why yall Canadians have so many bums/drunks ? LOL
they're like zombies wondering in the city...aahhahah but they dont scare people like me that grew up in a city so is all good

Juneau is nice.....the first thing I saw when we arrive to Juneau was bald eagles. nothing much to do but shopping, whale watching, and the glacier.

Whoa!

Holy...I'm about to go on that exact same cruise in 2 weeks! I'm not sure which princess I'm on but DAMN! Nice intro to my upcoming vacation.

How long did your cruise last? Mine's 10 days. From SF to Alaska.

Looks like it's going to be funnnnnn.

glad that you liked Vancouver and Richmond

yea, Vancouver does have a lot of drugs, alcohol, prostitutes problems, i heard that BC bud is like some of the best in North America or something??? And the Hyatt hotel in downtown is kind of closer to the "problem" areas in the east side and it is also close to the subway station, which is always full of drug addicts and drunks

but just stay away from them and they don't hurt people nor are they violent, the city wants to do something about it before the 2010 Winter Olympic games

My trip was 10 days and only had rain in Van, BC for few hours...other than that....it was 55-68
I think we had a record in Alaska with no rain in May for 7 con. days and the 65+ are somewhat summer tempatures...we got very lucky

very nice, I want to go up there some day.

Reminds me a bit of when I was in Iceland (except for the trees, of course).
