Read Folding Issue (with 3rd row)
I’m having an issue with the rear seat.
When I push the rear seat fold-down button in the trunk, they fold down, but for some reason, the rear seat base slides all the way forward afterwards, instead of toward the back. This creates a gap in the trunk bed and also compresses the rear seat headrests against the front seat. I have to manually push the seat base back each time. I have an X5 2019 with 3rd row and 03/2020.58 installed. Does anyone else experience this behaviour? My dealership claims this is behaviour is expected, though it doesn't seem to make sense. |

Mine does the same thing. Agree it is odd and it would be better if they slid back and closed the gap.

Mines the same. Sept 19. Ive stopped using those buttons now and only use the ones on the seats as it used to give problems with seats unlocked etc.

I have the same experience and do agree that it would be better if the seats automatically moved back at the end of their pre-programmed cycle. I just use the button on the seat to move them back to close up that gap.
