DM me if you are interested and I'll give you a quote.

I contact my tuner Noelle performance and they said they can’t flash any 21s.

It appears race chip and JB4 are the only real options.

I’ve done quite a bit of research over the last few days. It seems like the JB4 is has more safety features and more power available

It seems like the M5 guys have great success with it. Race chip is a much easier install and a much more conservative tune. But if I’m being honest with myself. I chose the f95 for that glorious power. Why not get the most out of it.

JB4 is fully compatible, easy to install and remove, provides solid reliable gains.

I imagine any of these tunes would be detectable by the dealership? So there goes the powertrain warranty?

A good piggyback can't be detected especially if it has CANbus, but a flash tune they can always detect even if flashing back to factory later. It's all about the risk reward ratio.

I have had multiple piggy backs
On many cars
There is no was for them to detect it if it's disconnected

As long as you don't code while it's connected
It's untraceable

RaceChip or JB4. RaceChip for the people that want dead simple install, no frills and not much tweaking ability. JB4 for those that want more control over the tune and a bit more safety margin due to OBD integration. Highest RaceChip map and JB4 stage 2 are virtually identical performance.

I read where as soon as a tune/piggyback allows a higher boost pressure than what BMW has programmed the DME for, that will tip them off.

Not worth the risk of losing the powertrain warranty. Those parts can be pretty pricey.

Do you know what the stock boost value is at 14,000 feet density altitude?

On a 110 degree F day at a mile high DA we saw over 1.5 bar of boost from a bone stock M8. Likely much higher boost levels as DA increases.

At sea level in cooler temps with a RC, the car may never see as high as 1.5 bar.

You see, the stock boost levels can go very high in the most extreme conditions. You don't have any idea how high the stock boost levels are capable of achieving.

They can see it piggyback or flash tune. They look at abs computer and fuel injector flow if something big happens.
