For driving assistance, not via coding, you can disable features that you want via "Configure Individual" and use the Intelligent Safety button to use your individual settings, turn everything on, or disable everything completely. I like this better so can switch back and forth with a press of a button.

Is it possible to add emergency stop on flank to 2019 G05 i-step 07/2020?
I saw it in 2020 F85 i-step 03/2020.

And can we add the RED (M version) colour scheme to the head unit?

The codes for brake intervention is in my sheet here:

https://g05.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1758184

Please note the hardware for flank breaking was not included until the 2020 MY. Accordingly, the 2019s cannot code that feature, they can only code for reverse.

Do you have some closer information
about that hardware? Can the existing hardware be easy upgraded?

And what about coding M colour scheme to hu_mgu?

No idea on hardware.

Not sure what you are referring to for red color but the M Dash layout and Alpina layouts are on my sheet.

You can probably see on pictures higher that all selections in menus and checkboxes are marked red instead of orange (as on all standard versions of G05).
I made this pictures on 2020 X5M F95.

When coding M-dash it would be great to have the same colour scheme on the head unit as well.

Confirming the below codes work as expected

ACSM5 -- [1B2D]
a_pdc: aktiv [01] -- Default : Initwert [00]
a_pdc_fp: aktiv [01] -- Default : Initwert [00]

HU_MGU -- [3E52]
ACTIVE_PDC: aktiv [01] -- Default : nicht aktiv [00]

After I made the changes, I do see the option in iDrive for "Active PDC with braking intervention" and I was able to activate through iDrive

Will have to test if this works as expected

Note : I did get some error messages on iDrive while coding, Parking Assistant malfunction, Driving assistance reduced
I was able to verify that the Automatic Parallel parking worked perfectly fine after the coding updates

After I updated the software to 07/2020.80 version today I noted that the default values for below was already set to aktiv in latest software

ACSM5 -- [1B2D]
a_pdc: aktiv [01]
a_pdc_fp: aktiv [01]

I only have to update this one

HU_MGU -- [3E52]
ACTIVE_PDC: aktiv [01] -- Default : nicht aktiv [00]

Note : This time I did not get any error messages for Parking Assistant malfunction

I am on 07/2020.80 on a MY19 G05 and by coding that setting within HU the option showed up, was not grayed out like it was when I tried to code without the ACSM values in the past, but still wouldn't allow me to select it.

I don't have direct experience but I recommended that Trojanlaw try it and he confirmed an improvement.

I seem to recall he said that the prompt to use Assisted Drive Plus appeared earlier than previously.

The boolean looks the same, so most likely ACSM wasn't progammed and/or coded with the OTA RSU.

Thanks ifr

I did have to do most of my coding again, however I did see few codes did not change and this was one of them.

As you mentioned, it is quite possible that OTA update may not have programmed ACSM module

Yes in iDrive 7 MGU you can change the vehicle colour by FDL coding the relevant colour from the drop down list in
VEHICLE_COLOUR
You can also change the trim settings ie M Sport X Line in the drop down list in
TRIM_LINE

Ok, based on much of the work done by member jaimeen77, we now know that it is, in fact, possible to code different ambient light colours! Below is one way, there may be other ways, and there is more to research and test in here beyond the basics presented.

It is FDL coding, so you need ESys with a launcher (ESysX or Launcher Pro) -- sorry, no Bimmercode at this time, not even Expert Mode. It is a little more complicated than usual as one has to fill in two tables, so I won't go into the detail here yet, but perhaps will try to organize a structure tutorial at some point. PM me if you want unstructured details earlier, but you'll have to pass a skill testing question: "What does this mean #7FFFD4 and what is its base10 value?"

In the meantime, you can use this FDL Cheat Code file to get my settings. The file is here: https://pastebin.com/tLnqZc6f and the colours and colour mappings are:

6 colours:
00 Magenta
01 Blue
02 Cyan
03 Orange
04 Red
05 Purple

11 combinations
00 Bronze/Bronze --> Cyan/Cyan
01 Bronze/White --> Cyan/Blue
02 Orange/Orange --> Orange/Orange
03 Orange/White --> Red/Orange
04 White/White --> Red/Red
05 Blue/Blue --> Blue/Blue
06 Blue/White --> Magenta/Blue
07 Green/Green --> Magenta/Magenta
08 Green/White --> Magenta/Orange
09 Lilac/Lilac --> Purple/Purple
10 Lilac/White --> Magenta/Purple
Because I am being asked for clarification and for use in BimmerCode Expert Mode coding (vs ESys), here are the tables with the colours in this original old post (the "LexxM3-set03" set). The tables also pretty clearly show the (currently known parts of the) structure of the LIC_LCI_LIBRARY_DATA and LIC_LCI_COLOR_PROFILES_DATA tables for your own customization. The colour values are just 24bit (3 bytes in hex) RGB "web colours" you can decode/encode in many places online (for example: https://htmlcolorcodes.com/).

Excellent summary for any coding software platform! I was recently reading the other post on this topic using BimmerCode. Now, if only there were a way, via coding, to change the menu in iDrive to match your new custom colors. Great job !

I cannot find the answer by searching but perhaps someone on here may assist... If equipped with laser light are you able to disable the amber corner lights?

Yes. I was finally able to get it done but lost the sliding RPM gauge by speedo when coding ///M cluster.

For anyone interested amber delete coding is:

Thanks for all the effort. I'm going to try the cheat codes this time around. I just received the 11/2020 update. The ambient lighting coding has been a lot of fun.
