X5 Phytonic blue

Hi,

Ordered a X5 30d in phytonic blue end of last August.
Finally the car arrived at the dealership and we are planning the delivery next week.

I'm taking the opportunity to post the details of the build and first pictures done quickly this morning.

C1M - Phytonicblau
VATQ - Tartufo Leather
1MA - Sport Exhaust M
320 - Removing M badges and motor designations
337 - Pack M Sport with (1PA) 22" 742 M Wheels and (2VR) air suspension
4A2 - Crafted clarity instruments
688 - Harmann Kardon
4T7 - Front massaging seats
Heated Front Seats, Armrests & Steering Wheel
453 - Front Active Ventilation Seats
4KK - Aluminium Tetragon Trim
Z99 - Swiss Premium Package
ZF5 - Tech Package
...

Apologies, I'm translating the option list from French, not easy to get the correct name for all of them.

I've to say this interior in Tartufo and the phytonic blau is really working well together. I'm super excited. More picture end of next week

Thanks ! Indeed I thought the same but it's really different in direct light!

As I'm like a kid waiting for Xmas, I went to check the interior today and asked the salesman to park the car in a safer place too.
I can't wait to do more pictures with my Sony A7 once delivery done.

Today was the big day.
I'm so in love. I do understand why I've watched so many good reviews on the G05 X5. Amazing.

I will try to give a small review after few days driving it.

Few pictures I took right after delivery Car is already dirty

Congratulations. I saw the start /stop button, has any function? I read reviews that this function was canceled.

It how your turn your vehicle engine off/on, the blank spot above start/stop button is where the disable auto stop button used to be (see green)

This combo is awesome! Great photos! I'm going to the dealer this weekend to see if Phytonic blue looks as good in person.

PB has a great range depending on lighting conditions from medium-dark blue to bright.

Dirt?

Beautiful color - and pics. Thanks all to posting! For those of you who have had this color for awhile...how does it hold up under dirt? I recently sold a black car - last black I'll ever own, as I now park outside/not under cover.

Thoughts on keeping this car clean? Bird droppings? Difficult? Should I just stick to white?

I had my X5 ceramic coated including windows, trim, brakes and wheels and it's great from a maintenance perspective - weekly or every other week wash.

I still have to quickly remove bird droppings as it'll still etch the ceramic coating but not as bad as etching clear coat.

I used to have pearlescent white vehicles but after a while it just looks dirty over the course of my leases. When it is pollen season - none of the BMW paint color options is going to look decent when coated LOL.

Which leads me to arctic silver and old space grey of being the best colors all around to hiding dirt, unfortunately those are the colors BMWNA dropped for the current gen of X5/X6s.

Thanks....first thought of having a white car and not 100% there yet. We used to have the space gray....it was a perfect color...damn BMW..seriously..they make a great car, then F with it over the years - either colors or options or both. Sometimes Germans really piss me off.
