My dealership has started the fix early also. Seems like most of our inventory should be fixed by Tuesday.

I get the sense that they are very, very eager to get this done and transacted this month because things went from 0 to 100 on getting the transaction done very fast.

After talking to them, I decided not to push to 12/1 in case the incentives get much better. Instead, if that happens, I will just deal directly with BMWNA customer service. Seems like a very easy and reasonable case to make when I have a signed deal from 11/1 and the delay was not caused at POS.
Thanks for the update. I live in the SF Bay Area but own a home in Bend, Or and purchased from the the dealer in Bend. My X5MC has been at the dealer for over a week. Would be awesome to pick up before Thanksgiving - looks like that just might happen!

Btw they washed my car in bmw and spotted some milky small spot on one of my lasers (inside of it). The bmw serviceman recommended to replace it as guarantee problem because the light costs about 5000€. So I am glad that they pay attention and hope bmw will approve that case and I will have new one.

He showed to me but I hardly seen it so I was happy.
For others, unclock your cars, check the lights when it light from more sides. If u can see some milky spot about 2x2cm2 or so you may try to solve it also. But I believe I am rare case. (Btw it has no issue during drive).

Regards BF.

I have my break-in service scheduled for next week, and they told me there's an open recall on my vehicle. This was about two weeks after when I called them for an appointment and missed it, that they told me there was no open recall on my vehicle. Anyhow, I'll let you all know how it goes. I'm pretty disappointed that I have to go through a recall on a brand new vehicle.

Really??? Is this your first brand new vehicle? I have had 5 year old vehicles get recalls as well. Recalls are great things for consumers.

Customer care packages are great too! When I had my 550 and 650 back in the day both cars were subject to that v8 turbo customer care package and BMWNA gave me mad compensation for my troubles.

BMWNA pay much more attention to USA customers and make them happy. BMW Canada could care less about their client base.

I doubt they would stop delivery unless the fault has the potential to cause an accident.
Has any one else experienced this?
I had the same issue on my x5m when i first bought it. I took it back to the dealer and they said nothing was wrong and they checked everything.

happened again a few times after getting it back, so i tuned the car and it hasnt done it since. not sure if that did it but the dealer couldn't find any faults

My 2021 X5MC had a completion date of 11/06. This is 2 days after the stop sale order of 11/4. Yet upon the new vehicles delivery yesterday to the dealer and while I stopped by to look at the vehicle, they said it required the stop sale update and they also had to update some other software. So no delivery yet.
You would think a brand new vehicle wouldn't need updates as usually it's done at the VPC. But BMW now has all X models made in the US and that are being delivered to the SoCal area, get unloaded from the train at San Bernardino (instead of at the VPC in Oxnard) and get no VPC visit at all. That service now falls on the dealerships.

My 2021 X5MC has been at status 150 for the past week, would expect with week 49 build (next week), this shouldn't be an issue. I will have an other month until PCD.

Wonder what happens for PCD USA manufactured vehicles with a stop sale, does BMW NA keep them at the plant or ship them across the street for a latter date fix?
