Wondering if anyone has experience here, I have a few engine errors that popped up and I can't clear them at all with Bimmerlink.

There are several Digital Motor Electronics codes that I get (e.g. FF1640) which all come up as unknown and I get errors in the app when I try to erase.

Any ideas why?

What OBD2 hardware are you using in combination with Bimmerlink? As far as "unknown" goes, have you tried plugging them into here to see if they also come up as unknown? --> https://bmwfault.codes

I'm using a BT Veepeak BLE+, which is recommend on the Bimmerlink site.

I tried a free OBD2 app and it pulling more readable codes and clearing them fine.

This is probably not the root cause of the issues, but that adapter is only actually recommended for E, F, and I-series — G-series is not mentioned under either iOS or Android for that adapter. https://bimmercode.app/adapters/
