I contacted CodeMyCar.com when I picked up my G05 back in Nov and their coding list was basically limited to the ASS funtion. Just checked it today and looks like they can play around with a pile of stuff now - http://www.codemycar.com/wp-content/...-CodeMyCar.pdf
I'd obv prefer to code it myself with something like BimmerCode App, but as far as I can tell the ASS is all they offer for coding right now... Has anyone here ever used CodeMyCar.com?? Their list looks pretty enticing, but I think I want a first hand account before I jump on that. |

Does anyone have coding lists for the G05 yet? Is it basically the same as the G30? I pick up the car in a few weeks so I am looking to get ready. Thanks |

similar to g30 but g05 is only supported on the latest esys and esysx. Unless you have a token for esys, its pretty much impossible to get. I've confirmed with esysX that g05 is fully mapped but the there is a cost to the software. I have still yet to pull the trigger on it.

G05 is only supported on the latest e-sys launcher 3.x.x for which getting a token is next to impossible as TM does not reply after making donations. Unless you already have a token for the latest launcher, the only option is Esys X for 100EUR; lifetime token

By the way, when i asked the mapping question to EsysX developers, the response I got was that everything was mapped including mgu and ram, but you are saying no?

With esys-x you pay 100 EU. For every update you need to pay another 25 EU - is that correct? That could get expensive quickly. |

Updates are for new mapping. You do not need to update that frequently; but, could add up if you did. |

So here is my attempt in coding the G05, I've updated to esys 3.30, with the latest PSZDATA.
Connected to the car using S18A target selector, was successfully able to read the ECUs, but it seems the files were trimmed for hu_MGU (Idrive) which got me no where really? it seems I need Launcher V3xx or is there another solution? Almaretto is there any other way of coding the MGU? |
