Am user of F15, did cording with those software. still use E-sys for cording? or any other latest way for coding?

I recommend buying esysx with the dongle. It makes changing computers easy. Especially if coding will be something you stick with for the long term.

I have tried to get it to kein_id.
But instead of missing it stays on all the time ((
Am on 03/2020.24. But on early sw it didn't work as well.
Is there any specific coding?
On F30 it worked fine.
Thanks

I experienced the same issue using Bimmercode to get rid of Camera warning. I also tried to set it to 0x01, but the warning just get stuck forever. So I ended up programed it back to 6 sec.

Did anyone ever figure this one out? Thanks!

I also recently experienced this .. After the coding session... i took the car out on street and auto parking wouldn't work

Later on I realized that my seat belt was not on as I was trying to test this on my street and didn't put on the seat belt.

The next day when I tried to do automatic parking (with seat belt buckled) it worked fine..

I learnt that if driver seat belt is NOT buckled, none of the the driver assistance functions work

Idrive widgets

Do I need to do coding to display the compass as a widget on a home screen?
Can someone tell me how to add the compass as a widget?

Hi,
Either this is only my problem or someone must have asked this before, but I could not find a solution.
Removing camera disclaimer does not work for me
MACRO_CAM_LEGALDISCLAIMER set to kein_ld makes it permanent instead of removing it. Has anyone experienced it?

Yes, doesn't work for me either and at least one other person had the same experience (on some thread somewhere). I think I coded it to 6 seconds and that's fast enough to not be too bothersome, but coding off completely has not worked.

Anyone has any idea on how to code warning chimes in G05? BimmerCode doesn't have it for G05 but supports for G01 and F15 for example. I know someone who got Rolls Royce chime sound coded in his G05 by some professional coders. So, it's definitely possible.

Coding is in Head Unit. Though, depending on firmware, it may not work.

I know it's in the head unit but the question is how to code it?

You might need to go into expert mode...if it's supported.

I don't see SOUND_SIGNAL_SET in BimmerCode in expert mode as I already mentioned here:

So, as I asked here https://g05.bimmerpost.com/forums//s....php?t=1849364

"So, what do people use other than BimmerCode for coding that doesn’t have BimmerCode’s limitations?"

How does one code with Esys?

How does one code with Esys?
There is literally tons of info on the net about how to code BMWs with Esys so searching a bit more will help you get started on the basics as this thread is not intended to be a beginners coding thread. Use your favorite internet search engine and search something like "coding BMW with Esys" and A LOT of topics on different forums, including Beginner Guides and videos, will come up to help get you started.

Happy reading my friend .
