OBD2 Scanner

Looking to buy this OBD2 Scanner for use with BimmerLink

https://amzn.to/44N3IRY

Maybe a silly question - but where I purchase shouldn't make an issue right?
I have vouchers for Amazon US that I would like to use, and the item will be used in the UK. As its a simple Bluetooth device I can't see that being an issue?

I'd go with an e-net cable and usb-c/lightning adapter (depending on the phone you have) instead.

Any links? I'm not really sure what to get!
I'm not too fussed with cost as I have vouchers to use - just though BT would be easier rather then fumbling about with cables......

Cable is many times faster than Bluetooth and much cheaper too. Here's what I got recently:

Cable would also not require a re-pairing every time you code.

Though I've had more issues with Bimmercode changes not "sticking".

I thought it would work like every other BlueTooth device - just pair once and in future it re-pairs automatically?

Considered the OBDLink MX+ as it has many good reviews, but now I’m thinking the cable may be a better way to go….. (not too fussed on cost as vouchers will cover it)

The BMW OBD II connector has the standard OBD codes readable by any OBD II device for generic results, but there's also an Ethernet port that produces some unique BMW test results. BT is probably fast enough for the standard OBD II data port, but is a lot slower than the BMW Ethernet port, assuming your reader can connect to that port as well as the generic data path.

The OBDLink MX+ (OBD2) is what I got (good reviews, etc). Aside from the need to re-pair (could be due to the length of time between sessions), I've had a lot of errors during reading & coding that I can't ID the source (adapter? tablet? Bimmercode app?).
