Is there an old car you miss?
I still miss my E39. Regret selling it. I have never bought an E39 again though. Sometimes I wonder if the G20 makes it look like I am trying to impress others.
What car do you miss and why? |

Red 1990 CRX Si in perfect condition. Traded in on a 1994 Z28 in 1996. The CRX was so damn fun and was largely why I picked up a 987.2 Cayman 6mt recently.

I miss two older BMWs: a 2004 325iT Wagon with SMG and a 2005 M3. And I had them both at the same time. The SMG 325 I sold because I was afraid of SMG reliability and the M3 I sold after 7 years to buy a Porsche Boxster S. Come to think of it, I miss that 2013 Boxster S as well.

I really miss my 1991 E34 M5. Last of the hand assembled M5’s. It sounded and drove fantastic. No drivers aids but ABS. I even autocrossed it. Got laid off and I sold it. Sold an 1991 E30 318iS to buy the M5. Miss that one too.

My 07 MX5, got it with 16000 km on it, it was the carefree version of my Z4M.
Decide to sell after opting to not build it up finally after 5 years of ownership Deep regret there

Oh yeah. I miss most of them.
2001 Mustang Cobra-1st manual car. Brought it home on a saturday afternoon but had to go to work. Sunday I learned to drive stick in it and than I drove it to work on monday. Had some mods and sounded amazing. Beat a lot of cars in its day. Time of my life. Had it for 5+ yrs and traded it in for a C6 Vette. 2002 Cadillac Escalade EXT-Most attention I've ever gotten in a vehicle. Was my pimpin' ride. lol. Best times of my life. 2007 Corvette Z06-Words cant fully describe what it was like having this car back when it first came out. Stupid fast. Looks great. 28+MPG as well. Traded it in for my 2012 Raptor. Will be getting another in the near future. I've had a bunch more but these really stick out to me the most. Currently driving my 2012 Raptor since June 2012. NEVER had a vehicle anywhere near this long. I will never get rid of it. |

My 73 ford capri rs3100 so ex army guy imported one in late 70's and I hounded and harassed him for 3 years to sell in in 85. I had two 73 Capri 2600 4 spd prior but that the RS was bid dog. Would gladly sell both M3's for one.

1993 Nissan Sentra SE-R
I bought it as a teenager because it reminded me of a more modern, cheaper E30 and man that car was so much fun. I am still into small boxy coupes though, so it definitely fulfilled its goals

All these amazing cars and rightfully missed!! Especially those NSX's. Why-ever would you let those go and not hold onto at least one is beyond me.
For both my wife and I, it was our Fiesta ST. What a spectacular driver's car with 205 skinny RE050's slid with a neutral flavoring when being flung about on our Colorado canyon roads. Hit a gravel patch and at the speeds it could carry and don't even worry about it. Fast hand rewarded big grins. Will likely buy one for our daughter to learn how to drive stick when she's 15 later this year. Can't wait !

For me it's the Z4M for sure. Even though I absolutely adore the F8x cars, I think my favorite cars of all time were my two Z4Ms. I just wish BMW would make the cars again, I'd be first in line. |

Most of the time if I sell a car I'm ready to move on, but there's one I really miss & regret selling - my JDM 1992 Toyota Soarer GT-T I owned back in 2009.

I bought one new back in the day, also a '93. Fantastic car to drive - build quality, not so hot. Thinnest sheet metal of any car I ever owned before or since. Really showed its economy car roots in a lot of ways. But for the money, a really cool car on many levels too.
The one I miss the most? My Scirocco 16V, which I owned for a decade, longest I've ever owned any car. I had a ton of fun with that thing. Was even featured in european car in 2005.
