Does your user name check out? I have a flight from Europe this summer on a 787-10 and am looking forward to it.

At least 6% off MSRP has been reported on this forum to be easily achievable. You may have to look around; dealers in PA and MD have been offering that and more.

Look through this thread for many good deals, if you are looking for a better dealer discount.

I live in Louisiana and contemplating an X5 build because my dealer down here just isn't getting in anything I'm interested in. My online build is at $77,605. I see some are getting around 6% off and others a little more. Has anyone used a dealer from farther away and had it go smoothly? If so, how does that work as far as picking up the vehicle? I've messed with the lease numbers a bit so I know where my payment could be based on MF and RV.

I'm between this and a QX50 (which I know is smaller) but lacks the hp I'm used to. I'm making a decision on Saturday as my lease is up and have to turn my current vehicle in.

Rebekahb,

I'm in NOLA too, I ordered from the Baton Rouge dealer. I offered $300 over invoice plus incentives and the base MF. They accepted my offer a few hours later no questions asked! Delivery is expected end of FEB.

User name is accurate. Hope you enjoy the ride. If you're traveling to, from or through France or Germany on UA, maybe we'll run into each other.

That's great to hear! Did you try to deal with Peake at all here in Metairie? They worked up a lease payment I posted on here a while back and it was a joke. Do you mind sharing more aspects of your deal MSRP and what invoice price was and how you found out that pricing)? Also, which incentives did you get? I was not this proactive in my leases prior and just trying to be more educated. I drive quite a bit for work so have to do a 15K mile lease which makes my monthly payments not as attractive.

wondering on the price guys, of the BMW CCA 3 year application fee?

also, apparently owing a BMW motorcycle doesn't apply for the loyalty discount does it??? I mentioned it to my dealer and they didn't say anything, and I mentioned I owned a M3 previous..

I emailed Peake BMW a few times but the internet sales person stated that they did not have an allocation to special order my build. I also compared reviews for both dealers near me however, Baton Rouge had better reviews. My MSRP was $73,505 and CA quoted invoice at $68,995 which is just over 6% so I knew it was pretty accurate. The only incentives I qualified for was USAA.

Just found out it reached the VPC in Oxnard 2 days ago. I'm in Northern California. So I'm looking for it in a matter of minutes, I hope.

Do vehicles get trucked from SC to the west coast or does BMW use rail or ships? Cars can stay in the VPC for days and even weeks, sometimes to fix damage. Ask me how I know.

Which dealer did you go through? What percent off did you get off MSRP (may have missed this). Trying to figure out how much was off MSRP vs incentives. We are pretty sure we are going with a custom order 50i and trying to get all my information together before starting the negotiating tomorrow.

so the website says financing at 60 months is 4.49% but my dealer on the papers shows 5.49% ??? are they allowed to do that?

I asked them what that was about and their exact reply was ; "4.49% is our wholesale rate we purchase it at. We mark up 1%."

is that Sh@t even legal? anyone else asked to pay more then it shows on website???????

Let them know you are buying it from a BMW Authorize dealer not a BS used car dealer, authorize dealer will never play game , I think you should post us the dealership information and report to BMW USA.

They are sent to California by rail then trucked from the VPC in Oxnard to the dealerships. I just learned my X5 is on the truck right now. So I guess I'll be hanging out at the dealer all day!

Looking at a new X5 for my wife.
Got quotes today for a special order.
5 dealers, build id # so everybody quoted the same thing.
All in state (SC)
Performance center delivery so never shipped to dealer. We live about 1.5hrs from the plant.

Build msrp- $73,095
The prices before tax were
1. $70,700 @3% off
2. $70,500 @3.5% off
3. $69,500 @5% off
4. $69,200 @5% off
5. $66,550 @9% off

These figures are dealer discounts and any rebates they applied.
All inclusive with exception of sales tax. Which is $500 in SC.
We do not qualify for much rebate-wise. Nothing really. Will not be financing, no current bmw, no usaa
Probably place a deposit with dealer #5 tomorrow.
From reading up it appears to be a solid deal.

Damn, it they are doing 9% off that certainly doesn't even come close to some of the others and would take that deal. You don't see that very often on here.
