Good afternoon Ifr! My coder tells me that there is no such parameter in the C_ACC_AAE_Vorhanden machine, everything else is encoded according to the table. Can you tell me why this is so?

He doesn't have the latest esysx as of feb 2021.

It's the UNBELEGT at the top of SAS3 in older versions of esysx

You can do but I don't think it will make a difference.

I'm 95% certain your region is not allowed, but we'll know for sure when you've maxed out all the masks.

1.) C_SLA_Vorausschua_Land_Altiv (I do not have this line in my DSC_VIP)

2.) C_SLA_UCC_Land_aktiv in DSC_VIP

I had also tried update to the latest psdzdata and recode. My version is 11/2020.42. I still do hope it is not country restriction.

Very strange I have both and I think all basic code are similar

The people that got this working only had to code what was in the spreadsheet.

I don't think you have missed anything, and coding the other land masks for 'potential' dependant systems was only an experiment.

Where a mask has at least one binary bit enabled then its being used by BMW to 'firewall' a feature and the extent of that feature based on region and also potentially model.

I max (all FF) these out as generally I want all the available features. For example, KAFAS\VFW_COUNTRY_VARIANT_MODE is already set to allow UK GWW and WWA, but by maxing it, I also get Traffic Light Recognition so it warns if both TLA and the driver don't slow for a red light.

This is actually an interesting code. It generates errors if you do not have the correct FSC, which many regions do not, which is why I don't recommend changing it for TLA. There is still a slim possibility that it is related to TLA but I doubt it, mainly because some without the FSC in the USA have TLA working.

If the land mask is all 00, then BMW are not using it to enable any features on any models in any regions. Doesn't mean it won't do anything, but it does mean that if it does work, then it's for a dev or future state feature.

In all likelihood, I'll find myself in a similar situation but, for my case, I'd be curious to know whether this is because of a regional limitation (like Singapore or Australia) or rather due to the navigation maps not being updated. If the latter, it will be an expensive experiment to update the maps only to realize that the data is not rich enough because it doesn't have the traffic light info.

I'll do the coding next week once my car is serviced and report back.

I think yours will fail for 1 of a half a dozen reasons.

If you can't get the SLI working right, I can't see any way forward.

I'm failing to understand how KAFAS (only) would not work at all for SLI though... I'll just code and see anyway.

Hi,

I am able to get the speed assistant to work. It is able auto accept speed limit and show anticipation after coding aSLA. Before coding, it just show “Anticipation is not available in this country” and basically selecting “Adjust automatically” for speed limit do not work.

After coding, it work nicely and able to anticipation the change of of speed limit ahead of how many meters and display above the current the speed limit. This leave me wondering if this is able to work, why not TLR?

Yes, it's in the spreadsheet - single mask starting VFW in KAFAS (40F8).

You will need GWW FSC or it will error.

You can tell if its worked as the iDrive Drive Assistant menu for Stop/Give Way/Traffic lights will change to allowed, from partially allowed or not allowed.

and before you ask... YES! you need to copy and paste/replace the huge FF, FF.... mask into esys

I can only comment on 5AU, and all coding is pre-req with that at the minimum.
