Last I saw, a SUV needed 3-row seating to qualify for tax benefits under the Inflation Reduction Act. Did I miss something? People here seem to be dismissing this very-relevant requirement.

I really hate how the black portion of the bumper (mouth) bleeds into the black grills. It would look 10000x better if they visually kept it separated with paint in between the grill and mouth. Alan

has anyone mentioned it already? the G05 LCI M Sport takes some body design cues from the current F95 ///M
or are these only on the M60i that’s pictured? meaning the 40i and 50e M Sport will look different? |

I Live in Mid US and we get 42-46 Miles out of a full charge. The only day we got less (38) was when it was 4 degrees outside. I only run 5 to 7 MPH over the speed limit and rarely punch it in electric mode. It is my wifes daily drive and her work round trip is only 11 miles, so the battery only gets depleted on Sunday on our COSTCO run. I have had a few runs of 50 plus range at 55-60 mph. WLTP is the range under very controlled conditions on a rolling road at an average speed of 46 kph or about 28 mph. You're right WLTP is mostly fantasy, but not too far off if you drive like the test.

Given the other atrocities BMW has come up with lately, it's refreshing to see they didn't ruin the X5.
That being said, I'm glad I ordered a '23 and was able to take advantage of the $7,500 credit. The 50e is going be an expensive puppy. |

Looks great to me... 40 extra hp on the 6 is huge... puts it on par w an x3 m40i now.
I wish they kept the 8 preset buttons and a real shifter but otherwise solid update.

Yep, rethinking waiting on picking up a good used 50e in a year or two. Hoping Bowers is a US option.

he said it’s “expected” not to meet the new battery requirements, so we won’t know the real answer until then |

Maybe it’s now a better handling suv. Isn’t it crazy how a nice feature that makes the car handle more accurately is discontinued… On a safety aspect- handling and steering are important. |

If you look at the IRS website, you’ll see that the X5 45e fully qualifies currently until March, and that vehicle has no 3rd row. |

Looking at the new taillights photos, where is the backup light? Is it just that tiny 1 inch square?
I already think the current backup lights are freakishly dim and dangerous. It better have a super powerful bulb in it. |
