Detailed Lane View in BMW Maps
Someone in the 45e Facebook group posted the attached map view in China. So, how does one get this kind of a detailed lane view in BMW maps (on the left side in the split screen in the photo below)? All I was able to figure out from the photo is that it’s a 3D (perspective) view with the zoom level under 100 ft (which would make it 40 ft in the US at least) with an active route. I was also able to get little traffic light icons to show up (apparently one needs to have an active route entered for that) but still no lane view with 3D buildings. Is this only available on certain roads and/or in certain countries?

I stay in Singapore and yes our maps are pretty detailed too.
Smoll🤏 country probably With the F1 happening over the next weekend i would use either Waze/Google maps to get me around the city jam. |

Here maps has typically been known for its mapping outside of the US and could be the reason they level of detail isn't available in the US. I have yet to see it on mine, but this has peaked my curiosity.

The HUD shows you the lane information and directs you to the appropriate lane for your next turn. I rarely look at the main screen so am not sure what actually shows up.
