Thanks for your help! I had called a week or so ago and was told week 18 and April 28th. I’m in status scheduled for production. On the wait for a vin and then I’ll track via f12!

Week 18 production update today. Got my VIN and the date is posted under the F12 function.

May 1st. its getting closer. It seems the technical enhancement may have slowed the roll out as it seemed like we were seeing builds being completed about a week earlier. ? ? Not sure.

Glad to hear you got a production date. I'm Week 18 for my M60i as well but still in 112....guess I'll be looking more often today to see if it's updated!

M60i Week 18 just got VIN with 05/01 prodDate (112->150). Looks like we just dodged a bullet with the recent recall issue discussed in the other Week 17 thread. I saw Turtleboy mentioned delivery to US locations only takes a few days. Hopeful I'll get my new car in 2-3 weeks (in California)!

Happy for you....I'm still waiting on my build date for my Week 18 M60i. Did you get an email notifying you of the VIN or just find out by visiting My Garage on the website?

Okay, I'm a little concerned now. I called BMW Genius to get a status update and they can't find my Production Number in the system to give me an update.

I'm a week 18 M60i build and was hoping for a VIN this week like many have gotten.

I still see my build in My Garage on the website but they don't see it in their system right now.

Maybe a glitch or did they lose my order?

You should be fine. As long as you have your production number and it is still showing on MyGarage that is all you need. When you get a weird response from Genius it is always best to call back and talk to another person.

My 25 50e went back to 111 again and called genius today and was told that production week went to 22!!! Before was week 18! Crazy!

I tried that - called back and got someone else. Still can't find it. They asked a few others to see if they could pull it up and they couldn't either.

Still showing on My Garage is the only reason I'm not completely paranoid. Just without a car right now since my last one was totalled in a hail storm!

That is odd, probably got pushed back and they just don't see a new build week. If you want to, post or PM me your production number as I want to see if it is available for new adds to MyGarage.

I was able to add it to MyGarage without a problem. I tried calling Genius and got the same answer you did, that production number is not in their system. I have never heard of that happening so not sure what is going on.

I still think you will be okay but you may want to check in with your CA to see how things look in their system. Maybe ask them to run a VIR (Vehicle Inquiry Report) and send it to you.

I ordered in mid-February, although I know it was originally an unused January allocation that was pushed back to what was Week 18. US here.

Same here with my week 18 50e. I called Genius for the first time on Tuesday and they told me they couldn't find my production number and that I should reach out to my CA. My CA says he can't pull it up via a vehicle inquiry, but that it's on his DAR so not to worry. Can't help but to be a bit concerned.
