I don't disagree..I won't spend that for the knob. Aftermarket should be fine until things level out..By then I probably won't care.

Has anyone successfully done this? I'm using a trim removal tool, but it feels like I'm breaking it.

I drilled a small hole into the center. Put a wood screw into it. Then use pliers to grab on the screw to pull the button out. Just made sure I didn’t go too deep.

This is what I did. I tried other methods, marred the silver ring a bit, then bit the bullet and drilled. Should have done that in the first place.

I went to Car Analysis site but?
Hi I went to Car Analysis site for the Vol button, but it sent me to Amazon and Brand: Mankalei Lab, I assume it's the same button?
Also after replacement it still lights up correct? Thx |

Sorry if I missed it but can you buy the metal/plastic volume surround? I scraped mine when removing it (the actual volume button is fine).

you talking about the silver ring? not sold separately AFAIK. I had to purchase a whole new radio face from overseas after damaging the ring when trying to remove it. (it wouldn't come off!) the new one came off easily, though. cost me $80 versus a few hundred in the U.S.

Sorry, I paid $145. yes that's the part. The cheapest I could find on eBay was $200 but didn't confirm if it already had the crystal button

Wondering if anyone has the same situation I do. I drilled a hole and popped the radio button off. Unfortunately the notch that holds the upper right on, snapped off. Thinking about a small amount of super glue on that side instead of an entirely new unit. Anyone else have something similar?
