Tyre Offset.

So I am looking at the 785 Wheelset that is sold for the X7 model but the rim size is same as any 22" wheel for the x5 (i.e. 747 wheelset).

The only difference is that 785 Front have ET 32mm while the 747 have 37mm. Rear ones are the same with 43mm.

So here's the question is 32mm offset pushing the wheel 5mm towards outside compared to 37mm wheel ?

The tyres in 785 wheelset are 5mm taller than on 747 so I think it's safe to assume that these could be used on X5 with 275/35 and 315/30 tyres - although so far every singe BMW dealership I got in touch says they will not fit
