BMW accepted build today. Not sure how long but at least it is in.
22 X545e, black sapphire metallic, M-sport package, 20" bi-color wheels (just want the comfort and life of 20s), black merino extended leather, extended shadow line, anthracite brown poplar trim, red M calipers, luxury seating package with multi-countour seats, parking assistance, premium package, rear door shades, 4 zone AC Only thing that they deleted was the tow hitch. 3% discount from MSRP. Feel fortunate considering what others had offered in CA. Will get full front end film protection and ceramic tinted windshield and front windows. Black on black beauty. |

Not one in CA of the 6 dealers I contacted and 3 of which I had bought from offered anything below sticker. Most were $2K-$5K above. Unless you are in dire need for a car, I would never pay over sticker. That are $$ that are thrown into the fire of depreciation! I sort of need one now with my having >200k miles and I travel a lot. But I would have probably not bought at sticker even now. Not in the too distant past you could easily get 5-10% off from almost all dealers. What goes around comes around. This will pass and supply will catch up. |

In your last photo in the garage, you have a shadow light on the floor, which option was that during the build? |

I think the pathway lighting is a standard feature.

The pathway/welcome lighting is a cool feature. I have never seen that feature in any video I watched so far. I hope they include that on my build as part of the standard feature.

it will be included as that what a "standard feature" means: every vehicle gets it. there's been no indication that it's going to be missing despite all the other features that have dropped due to the ongoing supply shortages. keep fingers crossed, though

If anyone is looking for a quick instock 45e that's nicely equipped I posted that my dealer had one. Just arrived. Don't know if it checks the options you like but I'm hearing of a lot of folks jumping ship because of the touch screen.
Check your local inventory. Maybe something close exists and has the essential features |

Touch Screen Option Credit Coming? https://g05.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1869843 i have a MY21, but despite all the deletions of the MY22, the 45e is still the only hybrid SAV I'd purchase right now. |
