For those that have the Luxury Seating package, do the ears of the front seat headrests fold in creating a cradle for the cranium?

The 456 Comfort Seat (added as part of Extended Merino or included with ZLS Luxury seating package) head restraint side extensions can be manually folded forward up to a max position for increased lateral support.

Perfect!! Thanks
We’re excited that massaging seats are available again on the X5. We had it on our X7 and were bummed when they weren’t offering them on the X5 just a bit ago.

I have ventilated/massaging M Multifunctional seats in Black Extended Merino leather with M safety belts 😎

Love the new sport seat. However, I wished they didn't black out the M logo, and kept the tri-color instead. If they could've made it glow like F95, it'll be even better.

They have to throw everyone a bone for considering or buying a F95/96 a bone, LOL.

What exactly is the "extended" part of the leather? I have extended merino with the luxury seating and glass controls to give that extra pop. That having been said, I don't actually see more leather covered surfaces than on the Vernasca vehicles.

Extended Merino is not really extended any more since MY21.

For MY19-20 Extended Merino covered the lower trim panel along the center tunnel in addition to the door pockets.

Here's a photo of my ZAEI interior and I've highlighted the "Extended" Merino area that was removed from MY21 models on.

Do you have ventilated and/or massage seats? Trying to decide if this makes the seat less comfortable due to less / firmer cushions required.

Do you find that the Merino leather seats are comfortable, even when adding ventilation and massage? I’ve read some comments that those features make the seat have less cushion or it is firmer to help protect the elements.

Did you have Merino leather with massage? Some have said it makes the cushion less plush to have all of the massage and ventilation elements in there.

Both cars had ventilated and massaging seats. The massage function is not really a massage more subtle but nice for long trips. Seats were overall very comfortable.
