cost me about 375 for the oem f95 spoiler from bmw. another 400 bucks to paint it. and then i installed myself.

Picked up my X5M spoiler today from the paint shop.

Very easy to install… just remove the 4 rubber caps, unscrew the 4 torx screws, close trunk, pull back on the oem spoiler, swap clips and install in the reverse order.

Pulled the trigger and ordered one. Arrives next week and then goes to paint shop. They have quoted me 250 for paint to match body color. Excited!

Hi all - long time BMW owner, first time posting. I wanted to thank VetteZ06 for posting the detailed X5M roof spoiler swap. I picked up my 2022 45e last week and swapped the spoiler this morning. Paid $360 + $200 paint job. I like the extension of the M spoiler vs the regular - it helps visually offset the rear bumper bulge.

I bought Wtfitzvi's☝🏼spoiler (above) and can confirm that it's about a 20 minute job - remove 4 plugs, 4 torx screws, swap over 4 "female" square grommet-tabs and two "male" plugs.. and reattach.

For those wanting to do this correctly, it requires a small modification. You mush shave off the plastic catch points and extra mould above the 3rd brake light on the “M” spoiler, or it will not sit flush on top of the brake light. My OCD kicked in.

You do not have to trim anything. If done correctly, it will fit together properly.
Or else you may be dealing with a squeak/rattle.

Respectfully disagree, understand your concern though. 3M above the 3rd brake light to eliminate squeaks rattle.
