I'll try and record a clip in the morning. The exhaust start up is deeper then at idle it's mellow as if it's factory but when you get on it a bit you can hear the difference. Well worth the time and money invested and happy with the suggestion from R33_Rgsport.

Is this mostly for sound or does the secondary cat delete have some notable performance or turbo spool impact?

It will give you more usable hp at lower rpm.

r33_RGSport did you ever get around to doing an install guide for these? I finally got a nice day to do this on mine and found the included Evolution Racewerks guide to be lacking. I was going to take some pics and maybe do a revised guide if there wasn't one already. If you aren't doing the primary downpipes, you can get away with far less work than what the guide has listed ... ie O2 sensors, heat shields, belly pan. I pretty much just pulled the engine cover and upper mount for the intercooler tank/wiring bracket. That allowed me to access the v-bands. Your suggestion for the 10mm ratchet wrench for the v-bands was spot on. The rest of the work is all done from below. Separating the secondary pipes from the mid-pipe is a bit of a workout but it can be done without dropping the exhaust if needed.

Unfortunately, I don’t have one made.
Based on my experience, it is pretty straight forward where their included instruction may have extra steps that you can skip.

Can this be completed without removing anything from the top? I have dinan intakes I’m trying to avoid removing any of those components if possible.

Possible, just depending on how small your arms are.

No. You can't reach those clamps from the bottom and even if you could manage to remove the v band bolts from the bottom, you'd never get them back in. It's a bit of a task even from the top with the minimal amount of stuff I took off. I was basically laying over the top of the engine to secure those clamps. Removing that Dinan Intake is trivial compared to the exhaust work. I'd say if you're not up for it, probably good idea to find someone to do the work. Even a few hundred dollars labor is probably well spent.

I had initially tried to leave even the rear exhaust in place but you quickly realize you waste more time and energy fighting stuff than just removing and getting it out of the way.

Thats sounds perfect. With exhaust valves shut, it sounds similar to stock? Or it is still noticeable louder? Also Im guessing this will fit the LCI x5m model? Thanks.

I’ve also been contemplating a secondary cat delete (currently have a catback Dinan setup).

If anyone has done a secondary cat delete after already having a catback setup, can you weigh in on how (if at all) it changed the sound? Is it purely just an incremental increase in volume, or does it enhance/add to the spectrum of sound produced?

No, it won't fit LCI.
LCI is s68tu engine, different downpipe setup.

It is 20% louder.

Saw the parts catalog, there are some changes on the LCI.
