Recently some of my presets are resetting.

It happens with default drive mode (electric individual,) and yesterday the map points of interest reset for the first time.


Does anyone know what's going on?

did you confirm it's loading the correct driver profile?

How long was the vehicle sitting? If it sits long enough and the battery level drops enough, that sort of stuff can get erased.

Less than 1 day, especially with drive mode default, it'll be every few restarts

Only 1 driver profile

Do you have the profile recognition set for the key? Are you always using the same key?

but did it load the driver profile or Guest profile? when some folks have reported odd settings, they noticed the Guest profile loaded instead their driver profile. to prevent this, the driver profile needs to be set to sync with the key fob.

are you using the same key fob every time? If not, then it's likely the secondary key fob is loading the Guest profile which you see as your presets resetting.

Yes, I've only registered 1 key since day 1. Second key sits at home.

When this happens, it still recognizes my name/profile. The oddest is the points of interest reset. It remembered the items I de-toggled, but instead of "selected" it defaulted to "all"

Just for the heck of it, restart iDive and see if that does anything.

Do you have it set to synch with the Cloud? If so, after verifying that restarting iDrive hasn't done anything then try unchecking that. If you don't have it set to sync then try checking that.
