It is not recommended. The F/R balance may be affected during a stop or maneuver. Definitely not different on the same axle. You also want to keep the rolling diameter the same. On an X-drive vehicle, new tires on the rear with worn ones on the front may have their rolling diameters out of spec, and that can affect the drive components and mess with the stability control as it may think a tire is slipping because they aren't rolling at the same rates.

Easy. Non RF. Get Conti's. But def NON RF. Can't change a tire? Then buy a Rolls, with a driver.
