Do you "sleep in" on weekends?

I'm retired, but Wifey still gets up with the alarm for work, so I'm up as well. But there is no alarm on weekends, so I snooze an extra hour or so.

Are weekends different for you? Do you sleep in on weekends or get up at the same time as any other day?

weekdays i go to bed around 1am and wake up at 8:30 and out the door by 9am to go to work.

weekends i'll wake up at 10-11am and go to bed at 2 something.

lady usually wakes up earlier...but i have no problem snoozing through an earthquake.

No alarm, but usual wake up time. It's nice to stay in a routine, otherwise you're extra tired during the week.
There's a reason people dread Mondays and it's not really having to work, it's the weekend clock.

I generally start work at ~ 6am Monday -Friday at home and unfortunately, sleeping in for me is naturally waking up at ~ 7am on the weekend Making it to 7:30 is a huge victory!

I do love watching F1 early morning practice sessions in bed so I guess that’s a benefit of not being able to sleep in.

Unless I have a call-sheet, I sleep until I wake up and am ready to get up.

Wife and I are retired. She goes to bed about 9 or 10pm, I go to bed around 1am. She gets up around 6am, me at 7:45. It seems the older I get the less sleep I need. We do not sleep later on the weekends.

My daughter will burst through the door and drop kick me in the face if I'm sleeping a minute past 8am.

My Wife can sleep in and does when she doesn’t go to work but I wake up at 5 every day of the week unfortunately.

I wish I could sleep in on the weekends. I get up pretty much at the same time everyday, work or no work, 6-6:30am I`m up.

Truth. Might sleep about 40 minutes later than a weekday, but nature eventually calls and the dog needs to go out!

Typically wake up just an hour later. This was my first no alarm day in 3 weeks, so I can't complain with the results. Thought I would've gotten more sleep in, but it is what it is

Of course, that is what weekends are for. If I'm not working Saturday its a 12 hour plus sleep day.

Of course today I couldn't sleep past the usual 7AM wake up time. That's what I get for posting about it.

This

My body naturally wakes at 530 and I'm typically out the door by 630. Weekends are no different. I usually wake up the same time but I might go to my kids rooms and lay with them. They're still really young so I'll take all the snuggles I can get 😛
