2021 X5M Comp 2700 miles Keep or 2024 X5M

Hey Guys,
I have my 2021 X5M Comp 2700 miles. PPF and Ceramic MINT. Was thinking about a new vehicle? 2024 X5M or ?? After extensive research I'm not seeing major differences (NEW DASH, TECH) but it seems you actually lose some things in the 2024.

I'm in the market so I don't mind change, don't get me wrong the 2021 is great, a beast but now 3 years old and out of warranty.

Keep or Buy New? Does not have to be BMW, let the haters start, hey that's what I asked for.

Thanks in advance.

I guess the first question is what you're looking for in a different/newer vehicle?

Driving it 2700 miles in 3+ years tells me it's a very infrequent use vehicle (I have nearly 8k on a '24 LCI already). Is that because you don't like it, have plenty of other vehicles to pick from, or something else? What will you do with a newer super-SUV that the '21 isn't doing? With so few miles, I'd be worried about maintenance issues from lack of use more than anything else, but I'm going to assume you're on top of all that.

This is a long involved story, Ill cut to it. I always drove my wife's vehicle but in August she passed away. I sold her vehicle so now the X5M is my daily driver.

I was also ill in 2021 (Cancer) so the vehicle sat. It now gets driven daily.

My condolences! Ok, so if you'll be driving the X5M now (or its replacement), what are you most looking for? Comfort, exclusivity, pure performance, tech, etc?

one thing for sure, you should have no issues selling the 2021 with that low mileage. I was looking for one last month and found a 2023 with 2100 miles and snatched it quickly. Have you checked extended warranties, even for your 21? I am not afiliated with these folks, but I just purchased one from them and their customer service was great: https://steingoldvolvocars.factorypr...ine-quote.html

I'm curious to know what you like and what you think you may be missing in your '21 X5 M, as I am potentially in the market for a '20 - '22

Is this for a Fidelity Warranty Plan?

Yes. Almost $2K less than same quoted by my local BMW dealer (also using Fidelity) and you can get your quote online by yourself and complete the transaction online, then receive contract via email with hard copy mailed to you.

My condolences about your wife.

Personally i don't think its work getting the LCI in your situation. Besides the minor visual changes its not much of a upgrade at all. If anything you are losing some features that the pre LCI had plus you have to pay a lot more money for it.

I say keep the existing or get an entirely different car just to change things up.

That's what I did, changing it up. You were correct, I felt no power difference and would be losing comfort access along with a few more items, disappointed that BMW chose to do that. It's really nice

I was able to find a 2024 RS6 Avant nice build, at MSRP got $79,800 for the X5M on trade.
