X5 50e Marina Bay Blue ordered

Currently driving a '22 M3, also Marina Bay, but switching to a more family friendly car :-)

I opted for Tartufo interior with M Multifunction seats. This this combination with MBB is very nice.

Just put my order in yesterday with the dealer. So no info about possible delivery yet, unfortunately. But the salesman was telling me that it will be end of the year, maybe even early next year for delivery in the Netherlands

Other people on this forum who just placed an order for a 50e with comparable delivery estimates?

are you able to get normal MBB on the 50e ?

i thought only Frozen MBB was available for non M and M performance.

I'm from Belgium, and was told a delivery window between june and september.

I didn't think it was available as either a standard or Individual color for the 50e in any market but perhaps the Netherlands has it. Or the order will be rejected like we have seen with others that ordered a color that was not available.

Yeah i meant as individual color.
I looked at trying to get MBB on my 50e order, but only the frozen variant was available on the G05, so i went with tanzanite blue.

It varies by market, here in the US Tanzanite is not available for the 50e.

I love that color. I asked a local dealer about it and was quoted $5500 for MBB. I love it but not that much. If you have to pay that much just to add that paint, may as well get a X5 M60 where that color is an option.

Your dealer likely was wrong on two things, it is not available as an Individual paint and the cost of them are $5k. Perhaps he was thinking about Frozen MBB, that is $5,500.

It's so great that other markets outside of the US get the M Performance Multifunction seats. I wish those were available in the US.

According to my salesman, who contacted the planning & logistics department of BMW here in the Netherlands, MBB (C1K) was available as manufacturer request color. Here we have to pay EUR 6095 for that.

Let's hope the order does not get canceled.

Ordered an X5 50e with an Individual Color (Malachite Green) in Germany on 01.03.2023 and got the confirmation from BMW (assigned quote) on 02.03.2023 with an expected production week 24 communicated from BMW Individual. That is mid-June. Add ~6 weeks for the delivery and you are looking at late July. Some who ordered an M60i early February with standard paint are already @ Status 112 so they will probably be in production in early May.

But some who have ordered late March in Germany with standard paint apparently already received an expected delivery in October, allegedly some were even told to expect late 23/early 24 if they would order today, without individual paint.

I ordered in week 7, as of today order status 111, expected production week 19. I'm a bit surprised as I'm still on 111, but think that's normal. Approx. 3-3.5 weeks before production = transition to status 112. Would be in week 15 for me.

Hi All, ordered X5 50e in Belgium on feb 2, hope they start production soon. No production week from the dealer. Promised end of august but hope to get it sooner! Just sold my X5 45e.
