Get the OEM GoPro mounts man.

I crashed my motorcycle at around 85mph at Buttonwillow and it stayed on the fairing that flew off that I had it mounted on lol it was AMAZING. The video is hilarious because you can see me sliding on my ass and tumbling. GLORIOUS day for me esp because that was the first session of the day. yay.

RAM makes good product but the Gopro suction cups are far from shitty.... I used them for a 3000 mile road trip and that thing stay glued onto my roof.

it's not the suction cup itself. it's more of the arms that join. it vibrates way too much when going 150 mph on a fairly bumpy surface with a lot of wind.

I've had Gopro suction cup fall off before but as others have stated it holds well I just probably mounted it bad. But in my earlier post it's the arms and the joints that are the problem - they shake way too much. Have a look at my vids and friends vid below to see how much they shake and then a ram mount (with short arm) on the same track driven even harder not shake nearly as much. The shaking was unbearable to me so I bought the ram mount. if you haven't bought one yet go with the better ram mount unlike I did. well the Gopro one does my mic duty on the rear end.

Good info. Never used the Gopro mount for the track yet. But for normal use they are perfectly fine
