High time for BMW to start offering a black roof option.

And someone black out the exhaust tips/trim for God's sake.

I hadn't thought of that.

You know what they say about dogs looking like their owners?

LOL I agree but I have to say, I prefer the look of the non-Laser headlights.

I like the blacked out insides vs the chrome insides of my Laser lights.
I could also live without the blue in my Laser lights...
Nice like the cf grill. I believe the point was to show the parts not laser lights, but it is a glaring omission

Unlike the F15 these M Performance parts for the G05 does absolutely nothing to enhance the way the car looks. The only thing that looks decent is the carbon kidney grills and the part in the middle of the bumper but you get 99% of the same look if the parts were gloss black.

I’m disappointed by the parts to be honest, looking at other model offerings this fees underwhelming. Only going for blacking out parts.

Don't mind the basic lights either. Looks more stealth. Also, the 50i isn't sold in Europe IIRC. Would explain why it's a 40i.

Doesn’t make sense to us in the US but in Europe it makes perfect sense. I’ve been driving around Germany and a few neighboring countries for the past week and the only BMWs I ever see on the road with M Performance accessories are base models, almost all 20i and 20d.

Over here, they get taxed hugely on anything over 2 liters, taxed based on pollution, etc (varies from country to country) so you NEVER see anything above a 30i. The few people with money seem to go straight for the full M model, Audi RS, 63 AMG, etc. I have seen way more top level M cars and other equivalents than 40i or 50i vehicles in my 2,000km of driving so far but I have seen dozens of BMWs with 2 liter engines and M Performance accessories.

I agree with the all black roof option...on all X models; looks sweet on the Mercedes vehicles...

930 EUR for the grill, 1140 EUR for rear diffuser (price list on first posted pic, unfortunately I messed up the rotation of the pic).

There is one thing that really annoys me and that is that you can see a round pipe in the exhaust system. I don't see a pipe in a F15 and my F16 doesn't have that either. It looks like crap. What where they thinking? The exhaust of the F15/F16 looks much better.

...or two round pipes per side

But, I agree with you, it is somehow reminiscent of those horrible fake exhausts.

I feel shadowline tips helps a bit, there are also aftermarket bits to improve the situation:

https://ind-distribution.com/product...e-exhaust-trim

I would have preferred a look like the X3M over having this over-dimensioned integrated hole in the back bumper, could probably stuff half a chicken in there...
