07/2021.85 OTA update

Just installed the latest (for me) update 07/2021.85 and everything seemingly went well (Alexa now works - yay!), but I noticed that now the Precondition feature no longer starts the engine. Anyone know if this is by design? Fans come on (and presumable the heating/cooling), but no running engine - which is actually good because you could then precondition in an enclosed space, but I wouldn't want to activate it and then have it crank up the engine in my garage when I wasn't around.

You need to check the box for the remote engine start in the Climate menu. Updates clear out that box.

That's an apple setting in CarPlay. If you go to setting on the CarPlay screen. You should see an option for Light/Dark/Dynamic.

I noticed that after I went to 11/2021.50. It is white during the day and black at night. When I searched around the consensus seemed to be it was an Apple change.

I am on 07/2021.35 and the latest iOS. Have it set to Dark. Always stays dark. Maybe it will change on my next upgrade, but what does your settings show here?

Thanks, I will have to check. It probably is set to Automatic given how it is working.
