We don't have a line?

You mean Duane Brown, Germaine ifedi (both first round picks) Ethan pocic, Justin Brit (both second round picks) and a vet in dj fluker isn't a line? They haven't even played a full season together/have training camp to work with the new OLC.

Not sure if you even know who we drafted, but he was the number one rushing rb in division 1 football this past season- plus he can catch the ball and outrun not just LB but CBs as well. Penny was a solid pick and a need considering we only have Chris Carson cj Prosise & mike Davis (who all proved injury prone)

By all means go to the rams- the "Seahawks band wagon" is long over. You seem like an LA type of guy anyways

Your guys pick was definitely the weird/bad surprise pick of the draft (the positive one being the Lamar Jackson with the 32nd pick)

Gonna be a long season aye there cowboy?

Wouldn’t say it was a bad pick, he was projected first round. Everyone seems to be saying Leighton is a freak athlete. Hard worker, not going to be a diva athlete. Supposedly best coverage LB in the draft. Honestly I’ve never heard of the kid, but I pay no attention to Mountain West football.

I said "bad surprise pick" not simply "bad pick". By that I meant most peoples reaction was "wtf" at the announcement (I was listening to the draft on espn radio) and the guys were all talking about your guys need at WR them boom- out of nowhere, your guy. At least on Mel kipers board he was projected 37th.

As opposed to when Lamar Jackson was picked, felt like the whole world was cheering for the guy. (Hence the "good surprise" pick)

I'm with you though, I have no idea who he is since I too don't know a lick about mountain west football either- so no idea if he's actually good or bad.

This.

Good call on them picking LB but with rashaad evans still there, I was hoping him. Vander Esch had 1 good season at Boise. Granted it was a stellar season, but being a Colorado State fan, I can tell you the Mountain West isnt exactly a powerhouse.

Didn't think they would pass on Ridley or DJ Moore, but what I was seeing was they are high on Sutton out of SMU, who will probably be there when they pick in the 2nd.

I just dont think Sutton is the answer either. He is a younger dez, but doesnt have the speed to scare defenses in the NFL.

Still think Ridley was the right choice at that pick. He has the speed, route running and hands to do well in our offense.

you ever heard of depth? we have none. which is why we had no blocking up front when the guys went down.

Who was it?

Considering a RB with explosive play making ability to take the load off of RW was a need- "terrible" would be an overstatement.

You can go to the rams too- if you know anything about this regime - they usually find value from the 3rd rd and up. (Obvious exceptions bobby Wagner/earl Thomas)

11-5 record and a wild card berth.

You want in on gentleman's bet?! I'm that confident on this coming Seahawks team now that the cancers are gone.

THIS IS RUSSELL WILSONS TEAM NOW.

Yoooooooo the legion of Griffins era has begun!

So far this draft has been addressing every need so far especially with Earl Thomas an Maxwell staying. But I'm genuinely SUPER happy for Shaquem.

One thing he has and has proven it his whole life is he has HEART. You can't teach that. Go hawks!

Props to the Seahawks for picking Griffin and uniting him with his brother. Being in Florida I saw a lot of UCF games.....the kid can flat out play!!!

Great story, great kid and great pick.
I’ll be pulling for you Griff!

They've addressed EVERY NEED in the draft and the so-called depth you were looking for.

So tell me RamsGuy, - a safety, tackle, TE who's massive and the best run blocker in the draft, a RB who led the nation in yards and TD, Shaq Griffins heart+talent, a stud punter to take over Ryan since he will be a cap casualty eventually- what more is there to complain about?

You're obviously a bandwagon fan who likes to win the off season SuperBowl with free agents and the rams definitely won that. You guys are a perfect fit, enjoy!

Just awesome all around. One thing we all know- and you especially since you've seen it first hand- his heart to play and ability to+ Earl Thomas back there with him- is definitely good thing for Seattle's secondary. The fact that him and his brother will feed off each other too/ it's exactly what Seattle needed in order to maintain competitive in what is seeming like a tough NFC West this coming year
