drive recorder, mobile phone?

24 X6 40i, ID8
iPhone 12 pro max

How do I transfer recordings to a mobile phone? Or record directly to a mobile phone? The user manual says that the phone needs to be connected to the car with WiFi and BT audio and have the same MyBMW app account linked. I have met all those conditions but I see no option to record to phone or transfer to phone.

Has anyone been able to do this?

Bringing life back to a old post. I'm interested if anyone has the answer. I know you can download a recording to a usb drive.

It is in 11/2023 which will be out in OTA soon in the US as it has been started in Europe.
