Diff fluid change intervals?

I know they change it after the 1200 mile break in, but is that only the rear?

What about the center transfer case and front diff? Thoughts?

I am about to do all of mine at 45k. Front diff, rear diff, transfer case, and transmission.

When I did my 2 day M School in February, I asked Rafael and he told me if you track your car at all to change rear differential every 7500 miles. Said that waiting until BMW change interval is no 1 cause of differential troubles.

He also said to always change transmission at 50k and that oil should be every 5k mi.

Probably less than 1% of F90 M5 owners will track their car even once. But preventative maintenance won’t hurt.

How much is that service? Should you change the front and transfer case as well?

Good point. I wonder about that also as it’s cheaper insurance along with 5k oil intervals or less.

I don't know. I only have 1800mi right now. I do have a local shop that is fully BMW certified that I will be taking it to. The owner holds record for top speed in stock M5.
