I measured G05 where the butt sits - it's 11" wide, a Civic for example is 12". That 1" makes a huge difference. Then the left leg goes over the bolster, because the seat is so narrow where the steering wheel is.
My butt literally becomes numb after 20 minutes. Such a disappointment. I'm 5'10", 150 lbs. |

BUT I did take me a while to find the right seat setting. Maybe play around with that since I would get pains/numb when the seat wasn’t properly adjusted. Make small adjustments and drive for a while. Save position and repeat. Btw I am 5’9 at 168.

Interesting to read your opinions. Funnily enough, I specifically ordered the full M seats on my X5 M60i (in transit across the pond at the moment). I tested them in a dealer’s demo, and had a couple of drives in them in a friend’s car. They’re snug, that’s for sure. Also, they require a habit change - you need to keep your legs more straight rather than spread to the sides when in the seat. That impacts the driving experience for sure, though I would say they’re still more comfortable than the regular seats (non-buckets) in the current M3/M4
On the other hand… they look so damned good

Seats are much better than those I had in my 2019 X3 M40i for sure.

I'm fascinated by the tiny folks here that think the seat is too narrow/small. 6'10", 295lbs and I only find them uncomfortable if I'm manspreading too long. Which I think would be true of anyone.
