It was a great car and wish I could have kept it. It goes like stink, had zero issues, and turned heads everywhere. To the day I traded it in, I enjoyed every time I drove it... but I have four boys, all in hockey, so the M3 wasn't quite cutting it for family duties, even with my wife's Navigator.

Only one complaint so far - my oldest son is upset he "can't show up to hockey in style" anymore.

Congrats, looks great! I had made the switch from a 2022 M3C to the X5 M60i. I miss the M3 sometimes but in general don’t regret making the switch in the least bit.

4 boys in hockey would definitely do it. Those hockey bags are huge!!

IMO you got probably the best alternate. Maybe with time your oldest will change his mind however if he doesn’t, the X5 looks fantastic with a small drop and some wheels.

Was your M3 stock?

The M60i is a great ride - I still have all the power, but it’s far more comfortable 99% of the time. Highway speed pull in the M60i is noticeably less, but a definite upgrade overall in my opinion.

The M3 was stock.

I’ve finalized my deal (about 3 weeks ago) at the same dealer, Park Shore, and they have a stop on my X5 as well!

How long was the stop on for?

I actually ended up finding an X5 with a later production date (as you can see below the STOP only applies to a certain production date range). I still bought from the same service advisor and dealer (they were great), mind you. Here are the details I was given while I was waiting:

Subject: STOP DELIVERY (STOP024983) - MY23 & 24 F95 F96 G05x X5 X6 X7 XM G70 7 Series U11 X1 - Integrated braking system


Situation: The concern is the quality of the integrated braking system

Affected: MY23 & 24 F95 F96 G05x X5 X6 X7 XM, G70 7 Series, and U11 X1 produced Aug.4th, 2022 – Sep. 5th, 2023. No action is required for retailed vehicles at this time.

Thanks for letting me know.

My advisor has been good but I’m a bit surprised they sold me a unit that had a stop on it. They offered me another one but I would like it with air suspension (as I currently have it), and supply is either non-existent or very limited.

I am hoping they are able to deliver sooner than later otherwise I will look at what other options I have.

How long did u have to wait for the stop be taken off I was sold an XM day I went to collect said it’s got a hold on it been 7 weeks currently in curtasy car

What’s worse they lost my x5 what I had deposite on so I bought the XM because of that and needed a car they told me about the stop the day I went do to take the car away told me be sorted in a couple days . I would of told them to by now to refund me and gone else where but I have there curtasy car and I got a couple personal cars so not to bad but I’m getting close telling them cancel it . What’s worse it’s just been sat in a space out side in bad weather and it’s not moved or been started in 7 weeks
