I am slightly surprised that I got 21.5 mpg in the first 800 mi round trip. That is the same as my X3Mc.

What kind of highway mpg are you getting? I know that after a couple of thousands miles the mpg seemed to improve with my x3m. Wondering if I will see the same with this beast.

Combined. I drive so little that it's hard to keep track of city vs highway tbh.

That fits overall I am at 17 but I am mostly Highway for now

I'm around 11.8 after a few days of ownership, but it's really hard to stay off the throttle. Once I get past the break in period, it wouldn't surprise me to see sub 10 mpg for a little bit. It definitely gives you that kid in a candy store feeling.

I am about 11-13mpg with NYC stop and go traffic. Once I am out of the city on road trips I’ve averaged about 21mpg several times all in Sport+ mode. Pretty remarkable for such a beast of an engine.

That isn't bad. That is right in line with my X3M. I f I can get that with the x5m I am going to be very happy. Although, a x5m hybrid could be the best of both mpg and power.

15.1 is my average. Most of my driving is for work, to and from a client about 40 miles away. Mostly along US-90. On the one road trip we've done so far got about 20-21.

I just got 17 mpg hwy on a trip. Normal daily city hwy is in the 12s.
