I'm just going to order them from ECSTuning. They've been making money off of me for over 13 years now, so I might as well keep it going. I did notice that these say "life time replacement ". But in the fitment it doesn't show F95 even though I verified it with the company itself that they do fit. All of this companies need to update this info.

Yeah, as I mentioned before I went to EBC website and those showed up only for '20-'22 X5M but weren't part of the X5MC any year. Altho the brakes are the same. Not that I will take the X5MC on open course or anything so I am sure should be good enough. As long as cut on the damn brake dust!

That’s unfortunate as we have them on X3 & X4. Absolutely no brake dust it’s amazing.

Now try Powerstop Z23 pads, next best pads for dust free from what I’ve gathered on X3/X4 forum.

not for x5m, but they do have them for 45e with m-sport package. Might grab a set, even tho due to being hybrid don't use the brakes that much so the dust isn't really an issue with it

I've had Powerstop and Akebono pads on my vehicles and they're great. I tried looking for Akenono before ECB Redstuff, but did find Powerstop.

The red are made for the heavy vehicles, not the yellow.

I might take the day off tomorrow and install mine. How are they doing? Pretty straight forward install I'm sure. I shouldn't have to push the pistons back since I only have 1400 miles on my stock pads.

Needed to buy extra torx bits for the front calipers, but yeah mine had 3K miles didn’t have to push any calipers back. You will need bimmerlink (didn’t work for me) or ISTA to put the rear in service mode. Front pads were right fit, had to scrape a little of the paint of the side of the pads to make it fit. So far has been fine, I never had any complain about noise coming from the OEM so that hasn’t change. Probably need 100miles or so to bed them properly but hasn’t noticed any lost of braking power

Rears in service mode? You mean for the brake to disengage or for the piston to screw in?

If I've had issues with the brake, I throw it in neutral and leave it for the swap. If it's the rear piston to screw in, you just take the back motor off and back the screw out with a torx.

because of the electronic e-break, you need to put the calipers in service more. Not sure if that was required without screwing in back the pistons but I did it. Also, there is whole process per TIS how you first do the front, then engage the e-brake before you do the rear

Out of everything I've read, that's not needed. It's just a swap and nothing else. I asked in another post where I saw people saying what I've read and verifying.

I didn't want to take the risk, so can't comment on that. Better safe than sorry lol
