But if you use a light meter to measure it, you would get double the lux reading. And farther objects can be seen in the dark. With double the light output and four projectors, BMW designers have much more freedom to create a better lighting pattern and better lighting distribution. |

In regards to the G05, the non-laser appliance with one bulb is brighter than the laser lights (when lasers not active) with two bulbs. I would imagine that is the cause of the glare or at least contributes to it.

Even if the laser headlights offered ZERO advantage whatsoever..... you should still get them.
Ever notice that a base 320i.... looks pretty much the same as a 340i? Unless you look at the exhaust pipes or the badge.... they all look pretty much the same. But in both cases... the headlights are the FIRST thing you notice, and make a determination if the owner "cheaped out" or not. The G05 could have every single option available.... rear entertainment, bowers & wilkins, etc..... but if they skimp on the headlights..... it still looks like the owner cheaped out. Get them. |

The visibility at night is great but so it was in my last car that just had LED. The lasers are probably better. Can't really compare. Anyway. I am happy I have them |

Yes but will cost you big time. The few guys who had it done report it's like $4000+ & yes special coding is needed. Not something you can do wilh Bimmercode.
